Dutch Design Award voor Maastrichtenaar Bastiaens

De Maastrichtse ontwerper Boy Bastiaens heeft een Dutch Design Award gewonnen. Hij kreeg die prijs in de categorie 'beste verpakking 2009'. Bastiaens maakte voor een Frans bedrijf een speciale verpakking voor spijkerbroeken. Het omhulsel is gemaakt van het natuurlijke materiaal bamboe.
