Eerste vaccinaties tegen baarmoederhalskanker

In Sittard zijn de eerste meisjes uit Limburg gevaccineerd tegen baarmoederhalskanker. Deze vrijwillige vaccinatie is bedoeld voor meisjes van 12 jaar. Zij krijgen in zes maanden tijd drie vaccinaties. Door de inenting worden de meisjes beschermd tegen een infectie met het HPV-virus.
