Gezocht: Supervisor/ Assistant Manager Reverse Logistics

Job purpose statement:

Supervision and coordination of the Reverse Logistics (Returns and Quality) resources and activities focussing on improvements to drive efficiency and improving customer satisfaction.

Main accountabilities:

  • Establish and Maintain effective relationships with the company’s customers and suppliers in accordance with the ethical code and standards of conduct maintaining the highest standard of professionalism at all times.
  • Ensure that functional workload and resources are properly supervised and prioritised accordingly in order to meet changing business requirements.
  • Promote and maintain high morale and a good working atmosphere between all staff in order to maintain an effective and harmonious working environment.
  • Review employee attendance records, and manage holiday entitlement
  • Responsible for identifying and resolving pricing discrepancies for repair and component supply with a view to optimising margin, maintaining system integrity etc
  • Assist Finance with credit note reconciliation and/or invoice related issues to avoid unnecessary delays.
  • Manage process of ordering, maintaining and supplying component stock to approved repair centre organisations and developing component list and availability in-line with anticipated and actual demand.
  • Manage and report on the performance of all repair operations (internal and external) in order to ensure visibility and to identify potential issues as early as possible focussed on achieving the best customer turnaround time.
  • Build and maintain service stock inventory profile to help reduce turnaround time and improve service levels to customers.
  • Proactively address any customer problems as quickly and professionally as possible.
  • Participate and support continuous improvement programs (VSM, 6-Sigma, Lean etc).
  • Responsible for maintaining the department’s Quality Management Documents and Local Work Instructions.
  • Responsible for analysing warranty failure and functional areas, escalating any trends or concerns to management and/or the appropriate business groups in order to drive the necessary corrective actions.
  • Provide as required information and statistics relating to functional activities to track progress and support improvement initiatives.

Experience/Qualifications:

  • MBO/HBO level of education.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Supervisor
  • Experience in Service & Repair/Reverse Logistics
  • Knowledge of Office Professional, JD Edwards, BAAN (ERP LN)
  • Knowledge of English verbally and in writing
