De werkgelegenheid daalt het hardst in Limburg. Dat blijkt uit cijfers van onderzoeksbureau EIM. In Limburg daalt het aantal banen met 7 procent tegen gemiddeld zes procent landelijk. Wel zijn er grote verschillen in hoe zwaar de verschillende sectoren in Limburg worden getroffen. De meeste banen verdwijnen tot nu toe in de metaal en chemie.
